As practising Dialogue Mappers, in order to utilise this approach effectively with complex problems, we understand the necessity for rigorous training and continual practical application of the craft . Many claim to be Dialogue Mappers after doing a few simple tutorials provided by Compendium. Often we have heard from those who have not had the formal training that Dialogue Mapping is not effective as it has been promoted. When looking further, through discussion and viewing their maps, they lack the richness, clarity and analysis a trained mapper would have produced. Like any craft-based approach, the more pratical experience you have, the better you become.

We believe that those who have invested in the CogNexus’ Issue  and Dialogue Mapping courses deserve to be differentiated and recognised. And those who are procuring the services of a Dialogue Mapper, they can be assured of the high standards set by CogNexus Institue.

Below is a list of people within Australasia who have undergone formal training, either through CogNexus or Seven Sigma.

"I would highly recommend the Issue Mapping class as it provides a great insight into how issues evolve in people’s minds and putting that into a form that is easily read and interpreted by others. Compendium is an extremely useful software package that pushes the boundaries of how to ‘map issues’. It provides great functionality so live mapping sessions are easily completed by even novice users of the program. "
